A new series celebrating improvisation and our love for synthesizers

Staying true to our philosophy of sharing music and our passion for synthesizers, we present the Antonus Live Sessions — a series of live encounters where we invite sound artists to bring their setups and enjoy a moment of exploration and creative exchange.

The spirit behind the sessions

The central idea is simple yet powerful: the artist performs their own live set alongside our Antonus system, which can be played either by the guest artist or by another performer. In these first editions, the one in charge of bringing the system to life was Toni Gutierrez, who performed the honors in both sessions.

Each performance is entirely improvised and varies in style according to the artist’s unique imprint. Sessions usually last between 30 and 40 minutes, built around a general sonic concept that serves as the foundation for free-form live creation.

Chang Rodrigues inaugurates the Antonus Live Sessions

The series was inaugurated by the incredible Chang Rodrigues, an interdisciplinary artist from Brazil currently based in Berlin. A DJ, producer, and sound artist with a solid trajectory, Chang has performed on stages around the world. She is now focusing on developing her modular live set, where she blends her sensitivity with rhythms rooted in Latin American music and an experimental approach that elegantly embraces noise.

Outro: sonic landscapes from Patagonia

Our second guest was Juan Barallobres, also known as Outro, an Argentine producer and composer based in Patagonia. His work combines synthesizers, piano, noise, and textures to transport listeners through experimental soundscapes and dance-floor energy.

The Antonus system in action

In both editions, the commander of the Antonus system was Toni Gutierrez, who used his experience and musicality to fully explore the instrument’s possibilities. Throughout the sessions, you can hear the Antonus 2600 roaring, moving through calm states and unfolding complex polyrhythmic sequences that push the boundaries of analog sound.

Interviews with the artists

In addition to these sessions, the Resonite Art Lab cultural association has produced a series of interviews with the featured artists, available on their Instagram account.
🎥 These interviews aim to dive deeper into each artist’s story, background, and creative world.

Music, exploration, and community

The Antonus Live Sessions were created with a clear purpose: to share what moves us most.
💛 Our love for music, synthesizers, and creative collaboration.
