Attenuator

Passive Precision & Signal Distribution

The Antonus Attenuator features three high-quality passive attenuators in a clever cascade configuration. It provides clean, effective control over both CV and audio signals, while its normalized architecture allows it to function as a versatile signal multiplier.

Intelligent Cascade Normalization

The module is designed with pre-patched signal routing for maximum flexibility:

  • Signal Multiplier: The signal at Input 1 is normalized to Input 2, and Input 2 is normalized to Input 3. By plugging a single source into Input 1, you can drive three separate outputs, each with its own independent level control.

  • Independent Operation: Inserting a jack into any input breaks the normalization, instantly transforming the module into three completely independent attenuators.

Designed for Human Hands

Even in a compact 2HP format, we refuse to compromise on playability. While many Eurorack modules feel like they were designed to be tweaked with tweezers, Antonus modules are meticulously spaced for “human-scale” ergonomics. We ensure enough clearance around the knobs so that manual tweaking remains comfortable, intuitive, and precise—even in a crowded rack.

Pure Passive Performance

As a 100% passive design, the Antonus Attenuator requires no power from your rack. It offers a transparent signal path with zero electronic noise, making it a reliable and “plug-and-play” utility for any setup.

Summary of Functions

  • Triple Attenuation: Three independent channels for audio or CV.

  • Active Multiplier Utility: Distribute one signal to three outputs with individual levels.

  • Zero Noise: 100% passive circuitry requires no power.

  • Ergonomic Layout: Optimized spacing for real-world manual control.
