Vision
We feel that the placement of the elements in an electronic setup is crucial for the feeling and result of the performance. Inspired in the classic “Moog 55 look” with the main cabinet on floor and straight top cabinet we designed this top row with the same look in mind and also looking for bring the same feeling of make a full and unique instrument, were the Eurorack modules feels like a continuity of the 2600 during the performance rather that being just another external case. It really have a shape in the performance feeling and results.
Development
Taking the original proportions of the vintage ARP 2600 as our blueprint, the idea for the SidecARP was born. To ensure a perfect fit, we measured numerous original units. We discovered that, due to the handmade nature of the vintage ARP 2600, dimensions could vary by a few millimeters between units. However, after extensive analysis, we developed a definitive design that fits seamlessly across all ARP 2600 versions.
Optimizing Stability
SidecARP Stands
The Sidecarp have a solid anti slide rubber feets that ensures a good stable position on top by itself.
However we had designed the SidecARP locking brackets. This brackets add the most secure lock system for the SidecARP on top of the 2600. Being this brackets an option we recommend to use it, if is possible,
even more for these passionate users!
These dedicated supports are required for 6u versions (double SidecARP), because the gravity center of the double version really need the locking system for stay secure.
Style
Tolex
Like the rest of Antonus equipments, we can make the SidecARP units in different tolex colors, making possible a nice colorful systems.
Also we can make double SidecARP units with two rows in a single case (6u) and if the user need we can make different power connector following custom needs.
While finding hundreds of vintage ARP 2600 units for testing is a significant challenge, we were fortunate enough to collaborate with dedicated owners who provided their instruments for precise measurement and testing. Thanks to them, we have developed a design that is as compatible as possible with the vast majority of ARP 2600 units in existence.
However, we know that every vintage instrument has its own history. If your classic ARP 2600 has dimensions that differ from the specifications in our SidecARP data sheet, we want to hear from you.

The SidecARP features a power supply, utilizing a direct AC input (100V / 240V) to eliminate the need for external power bricks.
Engineered with high-grade components, our power supply is designed for durability. Under normal conditions, it operates between 30°C and 50°C. Even under maximum load, our dedicated heatsink ensures temperatures never exceed 70°C. This superior thermal management prevents the rapid component degradation common in lower-quality power sources that run at extreme temperatures.
